Kanchanaburi Rajabhat University, KRU, is a public university under the Commission on Higher Education, Ministry of Education. It is located in the city suburb of Kanchanaburi province, which is best known as the site of the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai and the Death Railway built during the Second World War. The province is also noted for its scenic beauty and outdoor recreational activities for nature - loving tourists, just 136 kilometers to the west of Bangkok.
